IRIS Publications Guide: FAQ and Feedback

IRIS, is SMU Integrated Research Information System. The Publications module in IRIS aims to have the information on the publications and research outputs of all faculty, staff and students.

Introduction

A number of sessions were conducted to introduce IRIS Publications. We also heard your questions and feedback. Here is a summary of the questions and the actions taken.

Frequently asked questions

Q. I did not see all my publications in IRIS?

A. Please check your publications and email iris_help@smu.edu.sg with the details so that the Library can add them.

Q. How do I make changes to my publications?

A. Click on Request Change button and indicate the change required for publications which are validated.

Q. Do I need to Submit all my publications for validation?

A. No, only Submit publications with the publishing status Published and Advance Online. For other status, just Save so that you can continue to edit them. E.g. Working papers that are in progress. Submit and validation is not required for showing a publication in Faculty CV.
