Introduce IRIS Faculty CV Templates

The IRIS Faculty CV module has delivered 2 COD approved templates during launch. The Full Faculty CV template would be adopted for SMU circulation.

IRIS CV Structure (Template 1: Full Faculty CV)

A typical generated CV can be broken down into the following information sections

Full CV Template - Level 1 Structure
  1. Personal Information - This CV Section contains information attributed to individual faculty. These information can be classified under working experiences, skill set, awards and education history.
  2. Research - The Research Section contains the research information or activities associate to the faculty. These information is can be classified mainly under research areas and interests, student thesis supervision, publications, IP and research grants
  3. Teaching - The Teaching Section contains all the activities, materials and courses which the faculty has delivered either to the students or other professionals.
  4. Theses and Dissertation - The Theses and Dissertation section captures the theses which the faculty was involved either as a Supervisor or other roles such as Committee Members or Examiners and etc...
  5. Other Academic and Professional Activities - This section is meant to capture the activities which the faculty participated. The activities are broadly grouped under other funding, consultancy, presentations and media contributions.
  6. University Services - The section covers the the activities or roles which faculty was involved within a university context.
  7. External Services - Professional - The section covers the the activities or roles which faculty was involved within non university or private sector context.
  8. External Services - Public Sector - The section covers the the activities or roles which faculty was involved within a public sector context

Full CV Template - Level 2 Structure

IRIS CV Structure (Template 2: Capsule Bio)

A typical generated CV can be broken down into the following information sections. This template is mainly focus on the capsule biography sub section of the CV.
  1. Personal Information - This CV Section contains business card information and the capsule biography sub section.
