Course Description

This course focuses on influence as it is used as a tool of communication management in organizations, with particular focus on Asia. The course uses case studies of private and public sector influence to enable course participants to identify, understand and apply components of the persuasion process that senior communication specialists must handle skilfully. Participants will also examine the cultural, political and socio-economic forces at play and myriad stakeholder sources of power that distinguish persuasion in Asia.
