How to create a Google Scholar Profile

Go to https://scholar.google.com.sg/.

Click on Sign In.

Follow the steps to create your profile, to add your affiliation, SMU email and photo.

Follow the steps to add articles.

Decide how to update your profile.

Save your profile and tick the box to make your profile public.

Points to note

It is possible to use a personal email like your personal Gmail account to sign in to Google Scholar

Use your SMU email for verification and make sure you check for an email from Google Scholar and click on the verification link.

If you have a common last name and first name, it is best not to turn on automatic updates for adding publications.

If you have a unique last name and first name, automatic updates for publications will work fine.

Check your list of publications regularly to make sure it is accurate.
