Resources on Campus

The Student Success Centre is dedicated to helping all students achieve their academic, professional and personal potential and get the most out of their educational experience at SMU.

  SMU Holistic Student Development Framework

The SMU Holistic Student Development Framework presents a visual guide for all students on 7 key dimensions that has been identified to lead them in achieving their full academic, professional and personal goals to thrive in an increasingly globalized world.

  SMU Resilience Framework

Everyone will experience twists and turns, from everyday challenges to traumatic events with more lasting impact. Each change affects people differently, bringing a unique flood of thoughts, strong emotions and uncertainty. Yet people generally adapt well over time to life-changing situations and stressful situations - in part thanks to resilience.

The SMU Resilience Framework seeks to develop the physical, intellectual, financial, career, social and emotional resilience of our students by providing them with the education, encouragement and experiences that can be used to navigate life’s challenges.
