Study Skills and Exam Preparation

Designed to help students develop effective study habits and strategies to optimise exam revision.

Start Your Day Right

The No.1 thing you can do every morning is to set the tone for a productive day:

  1. Get mentally organised: You can grab a journal and list out what’s in your head. Separate your thoughts and tasks into various categories. This will help clear your head and make you feel more prepared for the day.
  2. Create a good study and work environment: Make yourself comfortable and able to concentrate on your tasks. For some people, silence isn’t golden but they would prefer having some white noise while studying, which in fact helps them stay focused. You may also want to put your phone on silent mode to eliminate distractions from your social media or apps.
  3. Organise your time throughout the day, and don’t forget to take breaks in-between.
