1. Drive less, walk more
- You can walk, bike, take public transport, or carpool.
- Take the stairs, or alight two bus stops earlier and walk home.
2. Opt for sustainable packaging
- Replace plastic packaging with biodegradable ones, e.g. recycled paper bags or cardboards, eco-friendly fabric wraps.
- Both businesses and consumers can contribute their parts.
3. Order what you can finish
Reduce food waste, and possibly, food packaging waste too.
4. Leave nature undisturbed
- Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but photographs.
- Stay on designated trails as "short-cutting" destroys vegetation and loosens soil.
5. Give them a second life
- Find new owners for your unwanted books, clothes, electronics, etc.
- Donate them to the needy through Pass-It-On.
6. Use them with care
Show care and consideration when using community amenities and facilities, which are for everyone.
7. Recycle right
Check, clean, and recycle using the blue recycling bins in your neighbourhood.
8. Join community initiatives
- Form a community garden where the neighbourhood can grow flowers, veggies and fruits together.
- Contribute further by joining local initiatives such as tree planting, urban farming, food rescue, and many more!
