The project aims to develop and pilot an applied research approach to improve social services for vulnerable communities in Singapore, starting with adults and elderly people with disability. The approach is to work collaboratively with non-profit organisations, academics and businesses to develop new solutions to challenging problems. The methedology for this collaboration will be developed with the involvement of colleagues from O-Lab, the social innovation lab at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. The project will draw on lessons from leading social innovation labs and projects around the world.
