How do I use Eikon: Home


Please use the desktop shortcut on Eikon Terminals (T7, 8, 9, 12, 13) to access "Thomson Reuters Eikon" directly.

The ID and password will be loaded automatically - do not click in the login area before this is complete, otherwise password will fail to load. It takes a few seconds for the password to load. If the password failed to load on your first try, please make a second attempt. 

If login issues persist, please report this to and provide the terminal number and screenshots where possible.


Thomson Reuters Eikon covers major financial markets – equity, fixed income, commodities, foreign exchange – and provides compliance and risk management, investment management and wealth management solutions.

The database includes pricing data, financial research, global financial news and commentary, financial estimates, fundamentals analysis, and visual analysis through charting.

Eikon is accessible on campus only. Five Eikon terminals are available in the Li Ka Shing Library's Investment StudioAccess to financial terminals is strictly limited to the Investment Studio and designated terminals only. Logging in from other locations is strictly prohibited and unauthorised access will be promptly investigated.
