About the Programme

The SMU Master of Science in Management (MM) programme is an intensive one-year post-graduate degree and is specially designed to transform non-business undergraduates with no necessary business experience by providing them with a sound knowledge of the basics of management across a range of subjects and allowing them to make the transition, building on past educational accomplishments, into the world of business.

The unique features of the SMU MM are:

  • An academically rigorous program concentrating on skills for a changing business world including adaptability, creativity, flexibility and critical thinking.
  • An individual program portfolio of work derived from class projects, field investigations, and research assignments profiling each student’s unique knowledge and skill development
  • An emphasis on the competitive advantage of integrating sustainability and leadership ethics into all aspects of business thinking and organizational action.
  • A focus on Global Asia and Singapore as a hub of logistics, supply chain, and service management.
