Managing stakeholder relationships has become a core function of modern business. The Corporate Communication major gives students a strong foundation in the theory and practice of stakeholder management and communication. This highly versatile major prepares students for careers in public relations/corporate affairs, investor relations, and marketing communication in organizations and agencies. Beyond preparing students for these specific job functions, it provides them with the context of modern business, i.e. the impact of public opinion, media, society, governments and trends on corporations. SMU's Corporate Communication courses are taught by an international faculty with significant industry and consulting experience.
