Welcome

Welcome! This is  guide was created to support the Duane Morris & Selvam LLP Transactional Competition.

The idea behind the Duane Morris & Selvam LLP Transactional Competition came about when we, at SMU, realise that while there are a number of domestic and international mooting competitions, there is no transactional competition which will require our students to negotiate transaction agreements held in Singapore or in Asia. Yet, a significant number of our students will do transactional work within the first few years of graduation. Inaugurated in 2014, the competition provides an opportunity for the students to have a hands-on experience on developing their transactional skills and learning from the best transactional lawyers. Through the generous sponsorship of Duane Morris & Selvam LLP, the participating students will benefit from the involvement of Duane Morris & Selvam LLP's lawyers through its coaching, mentoring and judging.
