Getting Started

When given a research topic, it is always best to start with a secondary source.  It will give you the background and context to frame your research.  It will provide you with descriptive words of legal issues and 'Terms of Art' which you can use for your subsequent online searches.  These materials will also highlight other secondary materials you should refer to in addition to case law and legislation.

To help get you started, here are a list of key titles by topic.  It is not an exhaustive list and it continues to grow.  Please contact Elizabeth Naumczyk if you have any recommendations.
