Global Summer Programme

Singapore Management University (SMU) is proud to present the Global Summer Programme 2016 – a 4-week intensive programme focusing on Business, Innovation and Society in Asia, offering a suite of elective and enrichment courses designed to augment students' knowledge and practical skills about Asia in general, through the use of real-life case studies and examples.

Students will be able to to combine high quality academic and cultural experiences at SMU, including invaluable opportunities to network with respected CEOs & industry experts from various fields during weekly Wine & Cheese nights

There are eye-opening company & site visits that allow students to experientially obtain first-hand knowledge about how businesses are run in Singapore. Students may also sign up for many weekend activities, from city tours to beer brewery visits and food trails!

So, come on this adventure with us next summer! Be acquainted with one of Asia's best universities, and experience the business and cultural diversity of what Singapore and Asia have to offer!

Read more on what last year's participant - Ana Teresa from ITAM School of Business, Mexico - has to say about the programme!

For time-tabling purposes, courses will be divided into two clusters. Courses in Cluster 1 will be held in the morning, and courses in Cluster 2 will be held in the afternoon.

If you plan to take 1 course: you may choose any course from either cluster.

If you plan to take 2 courses: pick one course from each cluster to comprise the two courses you will be taking. You may not pick two courses from the same cluster.

In the online application form, you should rank the courses in terms of your preferences (i.e. from your first choice to your last choice). Should your first-choice course not be available, your second-choice course – or the next available course – will be assigned. As such, you should rank your choices carefully.
