This guide points to useful print and electronic resources.

Searching OneSource

OneSource is a good starting point for your research.

Use OneSource to find Industry and Analyst Reports and Company information.

1. How do I find Industry Reports

Mouse over Industries > Industry Browse > OneSource Industry [you can also see the other industry codes listed]

Choose a category and then learn more about the industry description and definitions

If you click View Summary you will be able to see all the linked information.


2. How do I find Company Information

To find Company information, you can choose the company option and type in the name of the company. Do note the coverage of private listed companies are limited.

Explore the other options available.


3. How do I look for Executives Information

Use the form to complete the information required. Choose the correct tab when searching either Global or AsiaPacific executives.


4. News & Reports

Click on this tab and explore the Basic and Advanced Searches. You will be able to refine/limit your search such as:

Analysts' Reports: Title Search; Full Text Search
Market Research: Title Search; Full Text Search
SEC Filings
Limit by Date Range

The Advanced Search allows you to get a list of publications too.

Searching EMIS

EMIS is a one-stop database providing access to company information, reports and statistical information.

Simply choose the country you interested in.

The easy tabbed navigation allows one zoom in on different content areas of the database.

Browsing by Industry is a good starting point. Once you choose a topic, click on it and you will be able to see all the resources related to that topic. This includes news, research and statistics from CEIC.

Data can be exported into different output formats including Excel.

The Advanced Search Page allows one to refine your search by

  • Countries and Region
  • Languages
  • Publication Types
  • Topic
  • Industry
  • Sources
