This guide was created to help you learn how to:

Read legal citations
Search for legislation
Search for texts and journal articles
Identify and use the relevant electronic legal resources available
Search for case law

School of Law (SOL) students enjoy a customised training session, designed specifically to support your first few weeks of law school.  The session will show you how to retrieve your course readings and begin legal research.  These are critical and indispensible skills you will need, both as a student and as a future lawyer.  By the end of this session, you will have a head-start on your studies and discover other useful resources beyond Google!

It is very important to review the following guides as they will help you navigate the Library's resources in terms of retreiving course readings using the Library's print and electronic resources.
